Pancake Breakfast Raises $1,000 for Winter Clothing Drive

Knights of Columbus Council 8274 raised just over $1,000 at its pancake breakfast fundraiser on October 28, 2018. All of these funds will be used to purchase winter clothing for kids in need in the Blue Water area.

Coats for Kids is a program that councils around the country participate in. Council 8274 is taking this program one step further by purchasing other winter clothing items such as hats, coats and sweatshirts.

In the coming days Council 8274 will announce a date and location for the winter clothing giveaway.

Will Eifert is the Deputy Grand Knight of Immaculate Council 8274, St. Edward on the Lake. He also serves as the council's membership director. Will lives in Port Huron. He is married to Crystal Eifert, and they have two children, Harper and Charlie. He works as a digital marketing specialist.
